In the Winter of 2009 The Youth Theatre toured to local schools performing Aesop's Funny Fables. Schools included Galena Park, North Shore Elementary, Southwest Elementary, Buffalo Creek, E.A.Jones Elementary, Park View Intermediate, Stafford Middle School, Pomeroy Elementary, South Houston Elementary, Carleston Elementary and Blue Ridge Elementary School. "They loved the interaction and the show" ~Alfred Padron from Park View Intermediate "I thought the show was for kids at first. But than I found out the actors are SO cool" ~Jacob, an 8th grader from Park View Intermediate "The students learned a lot. It was PERFECT for them. We had a talk back after and then we created our own fables. I want them to come back and do MORE fables!" ~N.
